Get Started with Your Submission

Ensure your manuscript meets our formatting requirements by using the official journal template.

To ensure a smooth peer-review and publication process, please carefully follow the guidelines below.

1. Manuscript Preparation

  • Format: Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx).
  • Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing the study.
  • Keywords: 3–6 relevant keywords.
  • Sections: Intro, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.

2. References

  • Style: Use APA, Vancouver, or specified journal format.
  • Consistency: Ensure in-text and list citations match.
  • Accuracy: Double-check all reference details.

3. Figures and Tables

  • Quality: Use high-resolution images (min. 300 dpi).
  • Numbering: Number figures and tables sequentially.
  • Permissions: Obtain permission for reused material.

4. Ethical Considerations

  • Plagiarism: Submissions must be original.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Disclose all potential conflicts.
  • Approval: Provide IRB or ethics approval details.

How to Submit in the JNHFB System

All manuscripts must be submitted through our online portal. Please follow these steps carefully:

  1. Register/Log In: New users must Register for an account. Existing users can Log In to their dashboard.
  2. Start a New Submission: Once logged in, navigate to your Dashboard and click the "New Submission" button to begin the process.
  3. Follow the Submission Steps: The process is divided into several stages. Please complete each one carefully.
    • Start: Select the appropriate journal section (e.g., "Original Article") and agree to the submission checklist requirements.
    • Upload Submission: Upload your main manuscript file. This should be the document you prepared using our official Article Template.
    • Enter Metadata: Carefully enter all required information, such as the manuscript title, a complete abstract, and the full names, affiliations, and email addresses for ALL authors.
    • Confirmation: Review all the information you have entered to ensure it is correct before finalizing.
    • Finalize Submission: Click the "Finish Submission" button to send your manuscript to the editorial team.
  4. Track Your Submission: After submission, you can monitor your manuscript's status (e.g., "Awaiting Assignment," "In Review") through your JNHFB dashboard.
