Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format. url: https://shorturl.at/lFkDo
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- To avoid rejection, please ensure your manuscript is submitted as a single document in one of the following formats only: Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF.

Journal of National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh (JNHFB)
The Journal of National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh (JNHFB) accepts various types of manuscripts. All submissions are subject to a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and must adhere to our Publication Ethics and Author Guidelines. Please review the specific requirements for each section below.
Original Articles
This section is for full-length reports of original research. Manuscripts should provide a significant contribution to the field of cardiovascular medicine.
- Abstract: Structured, max 250 words.
- Word Count: Approx. 3000-4000 words (excluding abstract and references).
- Structure: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion.
Review Articles
Comprehensive, authoritative reviews of specific topics in cardiology. These are typically solicited by the editors, but unsolicited submissions may be considered.
- Abstract: Unstructured, max 200 words.
- Word Count: Approx. 4000-5000 words.
- References: Should be comprehensive and current.
Case Reports
Brief reports of unique, unusual, or instructive clinical cases that make a significant contribution to medical knowledge.
- Abstract: Unstructured, max 150 words.
- Word Count: Approx. 1000-1500 words.
- Structure: Introduction, Case Presentation, Discussion.
Images in Cardiovascular Medicine
High-quality, original images (e.g., radiographs, ECGs, pathology specimens) that are visually striking and educationally valuable.
- Image: Minimum 300 dpi resolution.
- Description: A brief text (max 200 words) explaining the image and its clinical significance.
"How To Do It"
Practical, step-by-step guides on specific clinical techniques, procedures, or methodologies relevant to cardiovascular practice.
- Abstract: Not required.
- Word Count: Approx. 1500-2000 words.
- Focus: Should be practical and instructional, often with illustrations.
